ECD CURRICULUM

CURRICULUM

Through a broadly based curriculum and the caring and dedicated approach of our staff, we encourage and watch over the emotional, social, cultural, physical and intellectual development of the individual child.

We follow the Cambridge Foundation syllabus and The Ministry of Education, Sports & Culture curriculum as well as Singapore Maths. The curriculum allows the child to concentrate on the fundamentals of reading, writing, mathematics, art, music, drama, science and IT.

The learning is based largely on inquiring, where we encourage children to discuss in class, find out for themselves and follow up on work undertaken in class for consolidation. Each class has a fully equipped lending library, relevant teaching resources and an Interactive G-Board as reinforcement. We continually ensure that the education provided remains relevant, challenging and appropriate to the needs of our pupils. In this way, inquiring minds are developed.

School reports are sent home twice yearly, and consultation with Parents is done in the first term or if the need arises. Grade 1 Assessments take place mid-year for all ECD B children.
